This chapter is a PAIN IN THE NECK.
So now I get to battle Naesala, and he's pretty much indestructible so he kills everyone. I've reset the chapter at least five time today. I've got to stop putting Boyd in his path. Though his HP is insane, that blasted raven kills him with two blows. At least I have Shinon back, so he can battle some birds for me.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll actually get through it.
I viewed the second of the "three brothers" base conversation, and I had hoped to do the triangle attack on Naesala but he always situates himself in a place where I can't get all three brothers around him (like, near a cliff). I could totally beat him in that formation. But my point in bringing that up is to further prove how lovably clueless Ike is.
Rolf: We have a secret man...
Boyd: Shhh!
[They all depart]
Ike: Secret man... Mandolin? Manicotti?
I'd like to know what secret manicotti is, Ike. Though if Oscar is the one preparing it...
Anywho. OH! Has anyone ever seen Boyd do colossus with a bow? FANTASTIC. I wish I could find a video. He flips the bow & arrow nunchuck-style before shooting. It's now my second favorite move ever. Behind deadeye, that is. Naturally.
